How we check maths solutions

Our CBSE resources pair selected official questions with worked explanations. The checks below guide preparation and review; a page’s source notes record the evidence for its selected questions.

Check the question at its source

Compare the wording, numbers, units, marks and OR choices with the official paper. Check the PDF page visually where text extraction could lose a sign, fraction, table entry or diagram label.

Work through the mathematics

Solve each retained question and OR alternative. Check the formula, substitution, conditions, arithmetic and final units. Use the terminology and solution style appropriate to the NCERT chapter and applicable syllabus.

Compare with the marking scheme

Match the answer to the corresponding official scheme when it is available. Distinguish the official key from TutorVertex’s explanatory wording. A statement that a key was matched should be supported by the relevant source record.

Handle unclear wording and differences

Recheck the question and scheme before describing a difference. Give the file and PDF page where a source note is needed. Explain the mathematical consequence neutrally; leave out a question if its ambiguity cannot be resolved responsibly.

Keep figures, choices and sources traceable

Retain original question illustrations, including decorative images, with useful alternative text where appropriate. Label solution diagrams clearly. Merge exact repeated questions while recording the selected appearances; keep different data and OR pairings distinguishable.

Check the page and record review honestly

Check question and appearance counts, readable fractions, working interactions and agreement between visible FAQs and structured data. “Solutions prepared by Team TutorVertex” identifies preparation. “Verified by Siddharth Sir” is used only after his review. Dates reflect actual preparation, review or substantive updates.
